Active contribution to climate protection – participation in the Saxony Environmental and Climate Alliance

Lucht LHZ Elektroheizung GmbH & Co. KG has been an official participant in the Environmental and Climate Alliance Saxony (UKA) since August 2, 2024 for a period of three years. Inclusion in this renowned network confirms our ongoing commitment to sustainability and active climate protection.

As a leading manufacturer of innovative electric radiators, we see it as our responsibility not only to supply high-quality products, but also to constantly minimize our ecological footprint. Participating in the UKA enables us to further expand our environmentally friendly initiatives and actively participate in shaping a sustainable future.

Our aim is to make a positive contribution to climate protection through voluntary environmental services and at the same time to strengthen the economic power in the region,” explains Managing Director Uwe Lucht.

In the coming years, we plan to further optimize our production processes and reduce energy consumption in our plants. In addition, we are increasingly focusing on the use of renewable energies and sustainable materials in our products. As a member of the UKA, we are committed to going beyond the legally prescribed measures and developing innovative concepts for a climate-friendly future.

By expanding our photovoltaic capacities in the first half of 2024, we are already sending a strong signal for environmentally friendly production processes for electric heaters. We have expanded our existing solar system by a further 29 kilowatt peak (KWp) to a total output of 356 kilowatt peak (KWp).

Lucht LHZ Elektroheizung GmbH & Co. KG is looking forward to making a decisive contribution to environmental protection in Saxony together with other UKA partners. By participating in the alliance, we are underlining our efforts not only to drive forward technological innovations, but also to make our contribution to achieving the climate targets.

The Environmental and Climate Alliance Saxony (UKA) is a partnership initiative between the Saxon state government and the regional economy. Its goal is clearly defined: It strengthens environmental protection and climate friendliness in Saxony through voluntary environmental services provided by participating companies. The UKA offers a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience as well as for the development of sustainable solutions that go beyond legal requirements and promote sustainable economic development.
